The largest european luxury yachting group debuts three new brands at China International Boat Show

Ferretti Group, one of the world leaders in the design and production of luxury motoryachts and sporting boats, is well-known for its innovative design, advanced technology and high standard of services. As a pioneer to the Chinese market, Ferretti Group has established the national sales network since 2005 with Chinese dealers for two major brands: Ferretti Yachts and Pershing. This year, Ferretti Group has brought another three world-leading brands, Riva, Itama and Custom Line to China to attend the 12th China International Boat Show in Shanghai from April 5th to 8th. In the 2005/2006 financial year, it achieved the total production value of 770,4 million Euros, increasing 18 percent compared to last year’s productions. Ferretti Group has gained high attention in China since the sales partnership establishment with Chinese dealers in 2005. The sales performance and brand image of Ferretti Yachts and Pershing both reached the top status in the Chinese yachting industry. So far, 10 luxury yachts have been sold in mainland China alone, moreover, consumers tend to choose more luxury and bigger yachts. In 2006, Ferretti Yachts and Pershing were voted as the most favoured luxury business yachting brand and sporty yachting brand by Chinese billionaires respectively.
This year, at the press conference, Ferretti Group signed the official partnership agreement with Shanghai Horizon Yachting Limited and Shenzhen Speedo Marine Yachting Limited, authorizing them to sell Riva and Itama in different regions respectively in China. After the huge success Ferretti Yachts has gained in China, Ferretti Group foresees the potential needs of producing customized yachts with Chinese elements and characteristics. With this in mind, Ferretti Yacht’s extended line Custom Line enters the Chinese market to suit the strong demands for tailor-made Ferretti Yachts with over 88 feet length. This marks a new milestone for Ferretti Group’s further business development in China. In order to witness and celebrate this greatest moment, Pershing and Itama Chairman Mr. Tilli Antonelli, Pershing Asia Pacific Sales Manager Mr. Alessandro Diomedi, Riva Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mr. Francesco Frediani, Riva Far East Sales Manager Mr. Giordano Pellacani, Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft & Custom Line Asia Pacific Sales Manager Mr. Giuseppe Zecchin, Ferretti Group Asia Pacific representative Mr. Daniell Chen and some dealers attended the press conference and new yacht unveiling ceremony.
Custom Line is the special personalised gift Ferretti Group provides for enthusiastic sea-lovers.
