FERRETTI GROUP YACHTS DISPLAYED AT “BOOT 2009”
FERRETTI 510 (preview for the German market)
This innovative yacht is the result of the working relationship between AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology – the Ferretti marine design and research centre - and Studio Zuccon International Project.
The revolutionary new features include a full-beam master cabin with a chaise longue and open-view window, a real suite at sea level swathed in light, with the shades of teak gold wood; the living area features a galley at stern and a tilting window, making it possible to create an open space comprising the salon, cockpit, kitchen/bar and dining area. The sky lounge without roll bar and the spoiler create a dynamic, extremely elegant line. On board, the fully fitted kitchen is positioned in the stern on the right, designed for owners who love cruising their yacht by themselves. On the left there is a cupboard and a large, deep corner sofa with a tall, extending coffee table. On the right, across the kitchen, there’s another two-seater sofa and the steps leading up to the flying bridge. The helm offers perfect visibility thanks to its raised position and large windows. The Ferretti 510 features three cabins, two with a double bed and one with twin beds. Ferretti 510 can also feature a crew cabin at stern, which can alternatively be used as a storage area. The full beam master cabin with open view windows has been positioned in the stern with a private head and large wardrobe. For other guests, the Ferretti 510 offers a double cabin in the bow, and a twin cabin with shared shower room. Ferretti 510 makes it possible to enjoy the sun on the large flying bridge sun deck. This deck is free from roll bars, and fitted with tops to create shady zones. The flying bridge hosts an additional helm, a large table with an 8-seater L-shaped sofa, completed with a grill area.
Ferretti 510 offers powerful twin 730 HP or 800 HP MAN engines, enabling it to reach a cruise speed of 28 knots and top speed of 32.
PERSHING 64’ (preview for the German market)
“To surprise the future” is the formula which drives the development of Pershing hulls and has inspired each and every processing stage of the new Pershing hull. This 64 footer features a soaring, aggressive line, for those who do not accept compromises and dream of comfort, the space and typical luxury of yachts with flybridges, on an open with a sporty performance.
A combination of values and characteristics once again made possible by the unconventional imagination of Fulvio De Simoni, the yacht designer who has always creatively interpreted the spirit with which the shipyard and Chairman Tilli Antonelli deal with each new project. Today, Pershing 64’ also boasts the awards she has won at the World Yacht Trophy in Cannes for the best design and functionality in the Open Yacht Under 24m category. Forerunner of aesthetic and functional innovation, amongst other features, Pershing 64’ offers elongated windows which both streamline the entire structure and bring diffused light to the large salon and helm station. The ambitious design of Pershing 64’ finds immediate confirmation in the salon, the leading feature of life on board. The area can be completely closed and air-conditioned, in order to create the privacy of an exclusive salon or, thanks to the sliding French windows which separate the internal salon from the external cockpit, can be transformed into a completely open environment. This solution means the cockpit and salon of Pershing 64’ can develop in a single monoplanar surface, creating continuity between indoors and out.
A great sense of space led to the inclusion of each and every element: a large C-shaped divan, comfortable chaise longue, cabinet with foldaway TV. The wengè flooring and drop leaf durmast table, produced according to an exclusive Pershing design, help create a warm, refined atmosphere in the upper salon.
In Pershing 64’, the entire pilot house, all the seating and even the smallest of finishes in leather have been specially studied and produced together with Poltrona Frau. Driven by twin 1550 hp MAN engines with Arneson ASD 14L propulsion, Pershing 64’ can reach a top speed of an impressive 46 knots, settling on high standards which confirm the centrality of the company mission in each new project: to develop yachts in which design and style are perfectly integrated in their ability to offer intense sensations.
PERSHING 56’

High levels of performance, a multifaceted character and luxurious comfort. Totally in keeping with Pershing’sstyle, the painstaking design of the yacht’s internal and external layouts feature remarkable interiors and excellent use of space for a craft of this size. With three cabins and three heads, a convenient dinette, fullyequipped galley, crew cabin and carefully studied spaces, the Pershing 56’ guarantees the finest onboard living comfort. Thanks to her 3-level structure and high ceilings, this craft offers a number of special features, such as the original way in which the galley is elegantly separated from the living area by a translucent aluminium and glass partition; and the refined master cabin which cleverly uses all the available room in the central part of the yacht.
With the distinct personality of her design, the Pershing 56’ features a harmonious profile made moreaggressive by her side band and black inserts. A powerful character confirmed by excellent levels ofperformance enable this yacht to cruise comfortably at 45 knots and more, even when fully laden.
ITAMA FIFTYFIVE
The 18.86 metre Itama FiftyFive can accommodate up to 12 guests. This open yacht features twin 1360 hpCommon Rail MAN engines with an estimated top speed of 41 knots, whilst the standard version has twin 1100 hp Common Rail MAN engines offering a cruise speed of 37 knots, both in V-drive.
Such an outstanding performance is guaranteed by the shape of the yacht, deriving from Itama’s distinctive and indeed famous deep V-shaped hull which now features higher bows and a slimmer, loftier stern than before. The deck has also been redesigned with a tighter curved profile. This increases the sporty style of the yacht whose sea performance is one of her most important features. The layout of the FiftyFive includes 3 cabins and 3 en-suite bathrooms, a dinette with galley, and a crew cabin with its own bathroom. The various fittings are in zebrano with real steel under the panels for the cabins, enhanced with ostrich skin tops and alcantara wall panelling, to create a modern, elegant style.
RIVA 52’ RIVALE
Of the various members of the Riva family, this is the yacht whose character, as indeed her name suggests, is both strong and gritty. It is not only a matter of name, however. Indeed, Rivale’s unique, sharp line has a smart, welcoming heart, created from refined wood and quality textiles. The interior design is based on a harmonious blend of elegance and sobriety, and cleverly set out living areas. This 52 footer features large cabins, a comfortable dining-area and a cockpit which satisfies all demands for outdoor living, as well as one of the largest garages (which stores a 3.2 metre tender) in this category, giving her a strong personality.
The size of this unrivalled yacht has been chosen by owners wishing to man and enjoy their craft firsthand (if this is the case, the crew cabin can be used as a guest cabin) and enjoy life at sea in comfort indeed, but also total privacy, counting on reliability and simplicity of use. Rivale carries the philosophy of Riva yachts: personality, style, elegance and constant innovation.
Rivale is available with twin 900 or 1100 hp MAN engines, and provides an exceptionally spirited performance: a top speed of 40 knots and range of 260 miles at cruising speed (in the 1100 hp version).
RIVA AQUARIVA SUPER
More than any other model, this 33 footer testifies Riva’s natural style evolution over the years.
Her soft, elegant lines reflect a taste for tradition, her valuable, beautifully carved wooden decks (mahogany inlaid with maple) and leather trimmings of the dashboard and helm highlight the pleasure of sailing in a timeless classic offering unique, incomparable emotions and comfort.
The innovative, electronically-controlled, two speed gearbox reveals all the gritty passion of the two powerful 380 hp Yanmar engines featuring an exceptional performance: 41 knots at top speed and 36 at cruising speed.
Symbol of Riva’s modern elegance and style, the success of Aquariva has been confirmed on all continents, just as the legendary Aquarama - now a cult yacht for collectors all over the world - did a few decades ago.
Not only has Aquariva inherited the trademark style and elegance of her predecessor but also the success: in October 2006 the launch of the 100th Aquariva was celebrated with the creation of a special, limited edition of the model, appropriately called Aquariva Cento.
APREAMARE 48’
The working relationship between Victory Design and the Apreamare shipyard has led to development of Apreamare 48’, from the gozzo range, a model being displayed at BOOT 2009.
The master cabin at bow is extremely spacious, featuring wardrobes and a drawer under the bed.
The choice of valuable woods such as classical mahogany, cane, visible on the inside of the drawer panel, opaque solid wood and steel, create sober surroundings, consequently a style solution in keeping with the previous models.
The master cabin leads directly to the head, featuring a large shower with teak grating, a washbasin with drawers, and a comfortable supporting space.
One of the project’s innovations is the positioning of the L-shaped galley in the centre of the boat, a double steel sink which develops along the bulwarks, whilst the burners and comfortable corian work surface follow the bulkhead separating that area from the master head.
Moreover, the centre of the yacht features a second head, a day head, consisting in a shower, seating, teak grating and a deep wall unit that works as a large mirror and storage space.
The two cabins on the stern feature two different solutions: a traditional one with two twins beds and a large, one panel wardrobe, and an innovative one which, besides a single bed, also features a large, French-type bed.The characteristic of both solutions is the light, which streams through two port holes and the panoramic glass window. For the external spaces, clever solutions represent the main, most successful points of the range, such as the harmonious style for the comfortable dinette and the ample sundeck, set at bow, which can also be used during navigation. Apreamare 48’ is equipped with twin, 600 hp CUMMINS engines, each of which can reach a top speed of 31 knots and a cruise speed of 26.
MOCHI CRAFT DOLPHIN 54’
Available in both sun top and flybridge versions, this lobster boat is ready to tempt lovers of the sea who are seeking a more direct, harmonious contact with nature. Conceived by Norberto Ferretti and created through the working relationship between AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology, Ferretti’s marine design and research centre - and the Victory Design Studio, Dolphin 54’ offers outstanding levels of onboard safety and comfort.
The design solutions include the reconfiguration of on board spaces, giving this 16 metre yacht the comfort and functionality of a much larger design whilst retaining typical Dolphin features such as the sinuous lines, highlighted by warm, bright new cream-yellow livery and the extensive use of solid wood, from the inviting teak floor in the roomy cockpit, furnished with two comfy divans at the sides, and one flanking the dinette entrance. The beauty and practicality of the wood extends throughout the yacht’s interior and exterior surfaces, right up to the bows, where there are two luxurious sun pads which can accommodate up to three people.
Comfort and stability are guaranteed by the variable geometry deep-V keel and deadrise angle of 19° with longitudinal steps. Dolphin 54’ is powered by two latest generation Common Rail MAN 800 Hp engines providing a cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 32 knots.
On request, the Dolphin 54’ can be equipped with the Mitsubishi MSM 4000 ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro System), exclusive to the Ferretti group, reducing roll while sailing or moored by over 50 per cent.
MOCHI CRAFT DOLPHIN 44’
Dolphin 44’ embodies all the distinctive characteristics of the Mochi Craft lobster boats in 13 metres. Her strong personality is obvious from the very first glance, featuring the shipyard’s coral-coloured livery, which gives the yacht a vivacious, glamorous air. The colour of her wooden trim and fine upholstery fabrics complete the impression of luxury and elegance.
Anyone boarding the boat will immediately be struck by the new shape of the 44 footer, an open designed for enjoying the sea. The large cockpit opens directly into the dinette, which can be opened or closed by a light fabric screen allowing the living area to be air-conditioned. The generous spaces of the cockpit and dinette, furnished with comfortable corner couches, welcome guests into an atmosphere immersed in light and sky. The spacious forward sun pad allows up to four people to stretch out in comfort. A platform opening out at the stern extends the cockpit at sea level to create a small “beach”, ideal for enjoying the sea.
Mochi Craft’s Dolphin 44’ is a comfortable, luxurious craft. She combines the lobster boat style with thevivacity, flexibility and sporty character a 44 foot yacht demands. She can reach a top speed of 32.5 knots and a cruise speed of 28.5, driven by twin 575 hp Volvo Penta engines, and can also negotiate shallow waters with ease, thanks to her 4 feet of draft. Comfort and stability are ensured by the variable geometry deep V keel and average 16°deadrise with hydrodynamic steps.
A Mitsubishi MSM 4000 ARG (anti-rolling gyro system), exclusive to the Ferretti group, can be installed on request, reducing roll while sailing or moored by over 50 per cent.
