THE USA PREMIERES AT “YACHTS MIAMI BEACH” 2016
FERRETTI YACHTS 700
The new Ferretti Yachts 700 is the evolution of one of the most recent successes for the well-established Ferretti Group brand.
It has a sleek and aggressive profile, and is one of the sportiest models ever built in the history of the brand.
The profile has been redesigned especially with regards to the extensive windows in the hull- three on each bulwark – designed to match the other windows on the new 55 foot yacht, without pillars and with the portholes glued and fitted flush.
The superstructure is sophisticated in its lightness: the extensive window surface on deck, in the same dark colour as the pillars, runs from stem to stern “cutting” through the profile of the yacht.
The lowering of the window section next to the drop in the bulwark in the centre of the yacht increases the sensation of lightness and “follows” the layout of the main deck on the outside since it is at the same level as the living area.
And there is more: the lowering of the windows flood the interiors with natural light and gives to the guests and the crew the most extensive views possible.
The aerodynamic design is at its best in the elongated flybridge, topped by a roll bar housing the antennas and satellite systems. This solution allows to keep all technical equipment off the stern of the flybridge and give the yacht’s owner the benefit of a panoramic terrace that can be fitted out with freestanding furniture.
The rolls bar decked out in a new colour, renamed “Vulcan Grey”. Starting with Ferretti Yachts 700, this warm tone of grey has become the new second colour for the brand, used for all appendages (roll bars, hard tops and domes) to provide a contrast with the white hull and superstructure.
76’ PERSEO
The new coupé was designed to feel part of a family composed by the other models of the sports range, and is the perfect extension of a fleet of true masterpieces founded in the recent products designed by Riva.
The yacht grabs your attention at first glance for its sporty yet elegant look, also thanks to the choice of colours.
The craft on display in Miami is in a new metallic shade named “London Grey”. This colour dominates the yacht and is used in combination with the dark “Shark Grey”, for Riva.
The sporty look is enhanced even more by over 430 sq ft of windows: the large windows in both bulwarks of the hull are two elliptical shapes that are almost touching each other, linked by the Riva logo in one of the materials that has always been a hallmark of this famous brand, hi-gloss stainless steel.
The lateral windows on the main deck are also “cut through” by a lifeline fitted to the ends of the superstructure: this solution highlights the dynamic personality of the profile and the dimensions of the windows benefitting the main lounge, as well as being a useful support along the outer walkways.
The generous windscreen is supported by a central pillar and has been maximised specifically to offer the captain the best and widest view.
The generous sun deck is integrated gracefully into the yacht’s aerodynamic lines and is an ideal space for relaxing in total privacy, as well as making steering possible from a privileged position.
PERSHING 82 “VHP”
The Pershing 82 has been named “Very High Performance” (VHP) and is one of top new products at Ferretti Group for 2016.
Thanks to this version, Pershing 82 is entering a new and glorious era, seducing yacht owners with the perfect combination of new elements and original features.
Over and above the sleek outer lines, luxurious new interiors, and state of the art technology, the Pershing 82 now offers even more extreme performance. Aside from the traditional equipment of twin 2435 Mhp, MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines with Top System 95P surface drives, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 45 knots and 40 knots cruising speed, the yacht owner can decide to fit two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines with 2638 Mhp power at 2450 rpm.
This new engine configuration, again in combination with Top System surface drives, can take the Pershing 82 past the 50-knot barrier, guaranteeing a cruising speed over 42 knots (preliminary data).
